The Indian television company Star TV appears to be in the in the process of rebranding many of its channels in India and around the world. The process started with their primary Hindi entertainment channel, Star Plus, which launched a new look back on June 13, 2010 and introduced a new star symbol for the channel channel, dubbed the "Ruby Star". This was followed up with a new corporate logo for Star TV in April this year, which introduced another star symbol, this time a glowing one named the "Hot Star". The London design agency venturethree created the new identities for both StarPlus and Star TV.
Next in line for a rebrand is Star Gold, the company's popular Hindi movies channel, which introduced a new look last weekend, on September 10, in connection with a screening of the Bollywood action movie Singham.
