On the morning of May 19, Pro France, an organization which seeks to promote products produced locally in France, unveiled a new stamp which can be used by products of certified French origin. The reason this stamp was developed was a perception that the declaration "Made in France" was too vague. The new label, which states Origine France Garantie, comes with clear specifications for its use.
