New logo: Bindass
UTV Bindass is an Indian entertainment channel targeting the Hindi youth. Yesterday, April 16, the channel was relaunched with a new identity, dropping the "UTV" prefix from its name, while adopting a new "restless" brand philosophy. The letterforms from the previous logo are kept, but can now be used in a more dynamic, less static way, where the letters can move around the "rest-less" device.
An agency called Taproot India was behind the repositioning. Bindass is a part of the UTV media group which has several other TV channels and was recently acquired by The Walt Disney Company.
