New logo: Moscow Exchange


The Moscow Exchange was formed in late 2011 when Moscow's two major stock exchanges, MICEX and MTS, were merged. The new company was left without a proper corporate identity for about a year until a new logo was unveiled on December 18. The new name, Moscow Exchange (or Московская Биржа in Russian), had been known for a few months by then.

The new icon is inspired by two mathematical symbols, the natural join symbol (⋈) and infinity (∞). This is placed on a red square, which is taken from the English name for the central square in Moscow.
